Originating from the USA and South America, Najas Guadalupensis or Guppy Grass as it is commonly known is an exceptionally easy aquatic plant that thrives under almost any conditions. Guppy Grass grows quickly and propagates effortlessly, making it ideal for beginners and experienced aquascapers alike.

Although usually kept as a free-floating plant, it may anchor itself in the substrate with long, delicate roots. The fine, porous structure provides excellent shelter for fish fry and shrimp, whilst also helping to absorb excess nutrients and produce oxygen. Perfect for both aquariums and ponds, Najas Guadalupensis supports a healthy, balanced environment and offers a natural hiding place for aquatic life.

Tropica 1-2-Grow Tissue Culture Plants
Small plants with great success. Tropica 1-2-Grow are very young tissue cultivated plants grown in the Tropica laboratory. The plants are guaranteed to be free from snails, algae and pesticides and therefore are totally harmless for sensitive shrimp and fish. The 1-2-Grow range offers a unique range of plants.

Success with your aquarium depends largely on the proper plant choice. Tropica 1-2-Grow plants offer a myriad of plants which can be divided into smaller portions to cover a larger area. Plants are compact from the start so you will experience dense and beautiful growth, if you provide them with the correct fertiliser and CO2 from the start. The range is perfect for small and medium sized aquariums.

Tropica 1-2-Grow Directions

  1. Carefully remove the plant from the cup and rinse off the growing media.
  2. Split the plant as required into 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors.
  3. Plant portions into the substrate using tweezers. Then watch them grow!
